PROGyn (Puerto Rico Obstetrics & Gynecology)

PROGyn is a nonprofit medical organization dedicated to education and exchange of  knowledge  among healthcare providers of  Obstetrics and Gynecology patient care. Furthermore, PROGyn is committed to promote the highest standards in continued  medical education and serves as a crossroads of information among members of  the Obstetrics and Gynecology medical community.

PROGyn collaborates and works closely with other professional associations, including  the Puerto Rico Section of the American College/Congress of Obstetricians and  Gynecologists (ACOG), the OB/GYN Chapter of the Puerto Rico College of  Physicians and Surgeons, the OB/GYN Section of the Puerto Rico Medical  Association, OB/GYN Coop (“Cooperativa de Obstetras y Ginecologos de Puerto  Rico”) and the Departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the University of  Puerto Rico School of Medicine and the San Juan City Hospital.

Mission Statement

The vision of PROGyn is to become the principal advocate for  women’s reproductive and healthcare issues and the mission is to promote  excellence in patient care among Obstetricians and Gynecologists in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean Region.
